Itinerary
Day 01 : On Arrival Leh
Enjoy the flight into Leh, the capital of Ladakh, on your arrival at the Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport ,Leh ( 11562ft ) -the land of brave hearts; you will be greeted by our representative who will guide you to your transfer to your hotel for checkin. Due to sudden arrival at high altitude of Leh you are advised to rest in order to acclimatize with the conditions. In the evening stroll around Leh Market Dinner will be served at the hotel.
Day 02 : Sangam/Zanskar Sightseeing
After breakfast you drive downstream along the River Indus on Leh– Kargil Highway. Enjoy sightseeing with Hall of Fame (Museum Constructed by India Army) near Leh is worth a visit for every Indian, and proceed further to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib Nestled deep in the Himalayas, A drive of another 4 km took us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity & further Driving through a picturesque landscape we reached the Confluence Of The Indus And Zanskar River. After visiting above places we drive back to Leh enroute visiting Spituk Monastery end supwith KaliMata Mandir. Overnight at Hotel
Day 03 : Leh – Nubra Valley
Post breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and northtothegiants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram range and Ladakh range of the Himalayas. On the way visit Diskit Monastery. Evening visit the Sand Dunes. Here you can enjoy a camel ride on the Bactrian camel which is known for its double hump (at own cost) and ATV Ride ( at own cost ) . Return back to the camp/ Hotel for dinner.
Day 04 : Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake
Leave early Morning towards Pangong Lake via Shyok valley and River. Pangong Lake is situated at 14,000 feet (4,267m) is a long narrow basin of in land drainage, hardly 6 to 7 kilometers at its widest point and over 130km in length. It is bisected by the international border between India and China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake lies in rich deep blue colour of its water and one rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable trip. It attracted peoplefrom all over the country and beyond. During winter the lake freezes completely, despite being saline water. Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay at Camp / Cottage .
Day 05: Pangong Lake-Leh ( 145kms/5hrs ) and City Tour
Wake up to a beautiful morning by the lake exploring the beauty of the lake after breakfast. Later you drive back to Leh via Chang La, a mountain pass situated at an altitude of 17,590 feet (5360 meters). Back to Leh enroute visit Thikshey Monastery, 3 Idiot Fame Rancho School and Shey Palace . Enjoy your dinner at the hotel.
Day 06: Depart - Leh
Your last morning in Leh, enjoy your breakfast and proceed to Leh airport to board the flight back to your destination. Journey ends with exotic memories and stories to be related once back home.
